Hi, I’m Nicki!

​

As a speech-language pathologist, I have the privilege of working with people who experience changes to their communication abilities, cognitive skills and swallow function. My goal is to help my clients regain their function and independence by highlighting their strengths and working together to come up with helpful tools. I love meeting people and getting to know their individual stories. I am also fascinated by the brain and how it is involved in everything we do!

I studied at San Diego State University and spent many years at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, where I learned about neurological rehabilitation, a variety of neurological diagnoses, and met people from all walks of life.

When I’m not in the clinic, I love going to hot yoga, cuddling with my bernedoodle on the couch, and baking cookies and cakes for my 3 kids and husband.
